The Fairmont San Jose Finally Unveils Its $10+ Million Renovation

After over a year of construction, The Fairmont in San Jose has unveiled its $10+ million facelift. The Fairmont was San Jose’s first luxury hotel and serves as a landmark in the heart of downtown. The entry, lobby, and bar/lounge areas have been completely updated with a chic contemporary look that offers all of the class and sophistication that patrons of the hotel could hope for. 

I have personally frequented the bar in the Fairmont lobby as it was always a cozy respite while visiting the Christmas in the Park festivities just beyond the hotel entrance. Last year I missed this annual tradition while construction was blocking off the usual bar space, and this year COVID required an entirely different Christmas in the Park experience that was separate from The Fairmont. 

The unveiling of this stunning update at The Fairmont offers one more thing to look forward to once COVID is under control and restrictions have been lifted! Hopefully this fresh look still comes with some of the offerings from the old bar, I for one can’t wait to enjoy a Berries & Bubbles cocktail first chance I get…
