Some good news for Downtown San Jose today! After being closed for the past two months, San Pedro Square Market will be an active space once again. 10 of the vendors within the market are resuming operations with take out and delivery options from 11am to 7pm daily.Â
While the interior of the market itself is still closed to the public, patrons will be able to make online orders from the 10 available vendors with pick up outside on the patio at the St John Street entrance. The participating vendors include Pizza Bocca Lupo, Loteria Taco Bar, Pasta Fresca, Phonomenal Noodle House, Anchors Fish & Chips and Seafood Grill, Bread Brothers, GameDay, Jora Ceviche Bar, Urban Momo and Voyager Craft Coffee.
Other vendors will return later, according to a San Pedro Square Market representative. Unfortunately long-time staples such as Blush, Treatbot Ice Cream, Chocatoo dessert bar, and Konjoe Burger Bar will not be reopening at any point. The leases for these vendors expired during the Covid shut down and have not been renewed.Â
The 10 vendors who are reopening at the market hall will join several restaurants already offering takeout and delivery at San Pedro Square, including 71 St. Peter Mediterranean Grill, Farmers Union, O’Flaherty’s Irish Pub, Five Points, Old Wagon Saloon & Grill, Old Spaghetti Factory and Togo’s. Starting Tuesday, Sushi Confidential will also reopen for patio pickups of food from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
