Get ready, cat lovers—Downtown San Jose is about to become meowvelous! On Saturday, March 22, from 12 PM to 6 PM, the first-ever San José Cat Day will take over the city, bringing together local artists, makers, and, of course, plenty of adorable kittens.

This exciting event is a collaboration between the San Jose Downtown Association, SJMADE, MOMENT, and Mini Cat Town, creating the ultimate cat-themed experience for pet owners and feline enthusiasts alike. Whether you're looking to shop for unique cat-inspired finds, cuddle up with adoptable kittens, or immerse yourself in creative art, there's something for everyone.

What to Expect at San José Cat Day

🐾 Cat-Themed Vendor Market – Explore over 20 local artists and makers selling everything from quirky artwork to handmade cat-inspired goods. The perfect place to grab something special for yourself or your feline friend!

🐾 Kitten Lounge by Mini Cat Town – Meet and snuggle with adoptable kittens at this cozy kitten lounge. Reservations are recommended as walk-in availability will be limited.

🐾 Forever Garf Art Show – Over at MOMENT Japantown (208 Jackson Street), enjoy Forever Garf, an exclusive Garfield-themed art show featuring works from more than 20 artists. Best of all, the art is available for purchase on a "cash and carry" basis—so you can take home a piece of the fun!
