Roku Is Moving to San Jose With a New Headquarters Next to Avaya Stadium

A large building that has been sitting vacant next to Avaya now has a tenant! Roku is officially moving to San Jose. The popular streaming entertainment company is taking their headquarters from their current Los Gatos location where they have been subleasing from Netflix and moving into a new San Jose campus at the Coleman Highline.

The project anticipates a total of 8 buildings that will be connected by outdoor bridges. Roku will start the move by taking over 91,368 SQFT in the first available building as soon as January. They will continue their move as the following 3 buildings come online.

Roku’s lease will extend over an 11-year period, making a serious commitment to San Jose and adding as many as 2,000 new jobs to the area. Additionally, the Coleman Highline plans to eventually include 1.5 million SQFT of office space which provides Roku with plenty of opportunity to expand from their current 570,000 SQFT.
